Book now, pay over time.  Uplift is a 3rd party service provider that connects in to the ReservHotel booking engine to provide guests option to finance their reservation for both hotel only reservations or hotel and air. 

For guests interested in using Uplift, they will first begin by planning their trip through the website's booking engine (ReservHotel) and selects the option to "Pay Over Time".  Customers will complete a basic credit check directly on the booking process. 

Once approved, a contract will be issued with the monthly payment rates based on the booking price. 

Uplift then sends a virtual card guaranteeing full payment on all elements of the booking. 

The hotel will then charge the virtual card the full payment at the time of booking. The virtual card must be used immediately as it expires. 

Guests are then obligated to make monthly payments to Uplift based on their contract. 

- Hotels may still ask for a guests credit card to keep on file for any incidentals or any items not including in the original booking. 

- Any refunds made from any area of the booking will be refunded back to the virtual card that Uplift provided to purchase the booking and Uplift will apply those amounts to any balance remaining on the booking. 

- If a guest attempts to book and for any reason the booking wasn't generated but they still received a contract from Uplift, the loan will automatically cancel after 14 days and any money collected from the guest will be refunded.

Instructions to activate

Step 1: Go on Booking Engine -> General Settings

Step 2: Under Booking Engine Settings tab you will see the Uplift option 

• Put YES to activate Uplift. 
• Be sure to click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
