Fraud happens, be prepared and ensure the team is reporting any suspicious activity correctly.

  • Protect hotel's reputation by ensuring that only legitimate bookings are being honored. 
  • Maintain a high level of service quality.

  • Mitigate the risk of unauthorized stays, cancellations, or fraudulent credit card transactions. 


Availability for Genuine Guests:

  • Maximize occupancy and revenue. 
  • Free up inventory that would otherwise be occupied by non-paying or unauthorized individuals. 


Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements:

  • Hotels may have legal obligations to identify and report fraudulent activities. Marking reservations as fraud helps fulfill these obligations and contributes to the overall security and integrity of the industry.


Hotels can also ban guests with this tool, we take the clients name, email, and CC information to prevent this person from booking again. 


Instructions

Step 1:  Be sure that the reservation is cancelled then go to Reports -> Search Reservation




Step 2: Search up a Reservation and click the green search button, on the next page click on the blue highlighted reservation number to open up the confirmation.  


Step 3: On the right side, click on Actions then Report as Fraud 

Step 4: A confirmation pop up box will appear, make sure to select OK
